1. How many cleaners are actually sent
Some quotes are for a single cleaner, others for a two-person team. Ask directly — it affects both how long the job takes and how thorough it can realistically be within the booked time.
2. What's included, specifically
"Full home cleaning" can mean very different things between providers. Ask whether kitchen, bathrooms, floors and dusting are all included as standard, or priced as add-ons.
3. Whether they have a real business presence
A company with a proper website, a registered business, and a Google Business listing is generally easier to hold accountable than an individual only reachable through a personal WhatsApp number with no other footprint.
4. What other customers say
Genuine reviews — on Google, Facebook or shared directly — give a much better sense of actual service quality than a company's own marketing. Look for specifics (punctuality, thoroughness, how issues were handled) rather than generic praise.
5. Whether they bring their own equipment and supplies
Established cleaning companies typically bring their own cleaning tools and products. If you're expected to supply everything yourself, that's worth knowing upfront and factoring into the value comparison.
6. How they handle a no-show or a missed spot
Ask what happens if the team can't make a scheduled time, or if you're not satisfied with part of the job. A company with a clear answer to this is generally more accountable than one that hasn't thought about it.
7. Whether the price and scope match what you actually need
The cheapest quote isn't always the best value once you factor in team size, time allocated, and what's covered. It's worth comparing on a like-for-like basis — same number of cleaners, same hours, same task list — rather than headline price alone.
